Homeschool Preschool Unit Study Idea: Weather

Preschool Unit Study: Exploring Weather Wonders
When you’re homeschooling preschoolers, learning feels a lot like playing—and that’s exactly how it should be! Unit studies are one of my favorite ways to teach little ones, and weather is such a fun and interactive theme to explore.
In this post, I’m sharing a simple, faith-filled weather unit study perfect for preschoolers—plus a curated list of both fiction and non-fiction books to enrich your learning time!
🌈 Why Teach Weather in Preschool?
Teaching your child about weather helps them begin to observe, ask questions, and connect with the world God created. From sunny days to snowy ones, every forecast is a chance to learn.
“He causes the clouds to rise over the earth. He sends the lightning with the rain and releases the wind from His storehouses.” – Jeremiah 10:13 (NLT)
